In silence, we face each other
I see you and you see me
Looking at your deep brown eyes
Takes away the veils obscuring my lonely figure
Your riveting stare pierces through my wall
Pulls away the mask that conceals my true face
Hidden in the darkness no more
Your gaze breaks through my shell
Baring my soul to the light
Far from you I can no longer run
Far from your presence I can hide no more
Your stare captivates me
Now I remain naked before your sight.
